Bumped shortly after the start and lost ground. Overraced in the early stages and near the 1400m when being restrained shifted out abruptly and lost ground. Continued to overrace for some distance and had to be restrained from heels on a number of occasions.

Hampered and lost ground at the start when tightened for room between THE INVESTIGATOR and PICKA PLUM, which after being bumped by WICKED HEIGHTS shifted in abruptly despite the efforts of its rider.

Commenced to hang out from the 600m and as a result took no competitive part for the remainder of the event and was eased down by its rider in the home straight. Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. A post race veterinary examination revealed a slower than normal recovery. Trainer T. Cotsiopoulos was advised that she must provide a barrier certificate for the horse prior to its next race start.
