Slow to begin. When asked to comment on the performance of the horse, jockey T. Marshall indicated despite his efforts in the first 400m the horse could not muster any speed and as a result was tailed off. He did however add the horse was doing its best work over the concluding stages. He indicated to stewards that there did not appear to be anything amiss with the horse and felt the horse’s racing manners in the early stages could perhaps be attributed to the horse having its first start under lights.
