ITSALLKAY – Slow to begin. When the pace steadied passing the 1000m commenced to overrace and had to be restrained from the heels of WILCARUISE. Continued to overrace in the middle stages and near the 600m shifted out abruptly and then hung out rounding the home turn. Trainer K. Lloyd was advised the horse would be required to compete satisfactorily in an official prior to racing again. Miss Lloyd will consider removing the blinkers for future race starts.

A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare had bled from both nostrils during the event. Connections were advised that the mare would barred from racing for a period of 3 months and must galloped satisfactory over 1000m in the presence of stewards prior to racing again.
