A post race veterinary examination of the horse, which raced keenly in the early stages and hung out from the 900m finishing last, revealed no abnormalities. Trainer D. Forster indicated on return to scale the horse had its tongue over the bit, and added that in light of today’s performance she would remove the blinkers from the horse’s gear and experiment with the addition of a tongue-tie.
