After having a pre-race blood sample taken, it was noted that there was some swelling and the presence of blood on the horse’s near-side neck. The horse subsequently under a veterinary examination and was cleared to take its place in the field. Tightened for room on jumping away and lost ground. Overraced approaching the 800m and was steadied from heels.
