After being held up for a short distance passing the 400m, attempted to secure clear running to the inside of MISTRESS OF DOOM and as a result had to be restrained when that horse shifted back towards the fence, and remained in an awkward position until approaching the 250m and as a consequence was restrained at this point of the race. Stewards inquired into this incident and were satisfied that whilst there was doubtful room to the inside of MISTRESS OF DOOM when jockey Thornton attempted to obtain this run, they were not satisfied that his actions were careless in the circumst
