– Rider M Rodd reported the saddle on the gelding slipped back marginally at the start and a short distance later appeared to lock up in the nearside stifle and thereafter took no competitive part in the race. A post-race veterinary examination of HEADSPACE revealed no abnormalities and a post-race swab sample was taken. Trainer M Currie was advised the gelding must trial before its next race start.
