Began awkwardly losing ground before it commenced to race very keenly proving extremely difficult to ride improving onto heels of ROUGH CUT JEWEL, obliging rider Bayliss to check his mount and shift wider and was forced to race wide from that point on. Trainer S Kendrick was advised that LA AMIGO would be required to prove its tractability in an official barrier trial.
