Stewards inquired into the reasons for this filly falling near the 200m. It was established that apprentice J Lloyd was attempting to improve to the inside of BLUE HARMONY, which was inclined to hang in, this resulted in MISS LOT WON being taken in and shifting in across the heels of SATINE, clipping heels and falling. A post race vet examination revealed the horse to have a laceration to the offhind pastern, significant bruising to the bridge of the nose and found to be bleeding from the off side nostril.
