In the presence of trainer G Doughty, rider D McGillivray was questioned regarding tactics adopted specifically, in the early stages of the event. D McGillivray stated instructions were to settle back in field with cover, however after beginning well and combined with the slow early pace of the race MINTO’S PARADISE was caught three wide and raced ungenerously when being restrained to obtain cover in an attempt to comply with instructions.
