When asked to comment on tactics adopted in the early stages where the horse settled in a more forward position which is in contrast to the horse’s usual racing pattern apprentice J Cornish explained that after beginning well she attempted to restrain MOMEMORY however the horse raced ungenerously and became unbalanced. App Cornish added passing the 1000m she allowed MOMEMORY to stride forward and the horse settled more comfortably from that point. Stewards noted the explanation.
