Rdr stated not intention to lead, however after being unable to restrain and obtain cover early when inclined to lay out and over-race, near the 900m, allowed gelding to stride and lead the event where the horse settled comfortably in the lead.

When asked about performance, Rdr stated had difficulty obtaining cover from the wide barrier early, however; after settling in a one-off position near the 800m filly did not travel strongly after obtaining cover. Tnr expressed disappointment in performance adding would now consider adding blinkers to the horse’s gear. A post-race vet exam revealed blood present in the mouth consistent with having dislodged a tooth.
