When questioned Jockey said that his mount travelled comfortably in the lead, however when another runner improved to his outside approaching the home turn he was under pressure from that point on and was disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Trainer undertook to report back in the days subsequent. Trainer reported the horse pulled up well and he intends to continue with its current preparation.
