Began very awkwardly with its head up and shifted in abruptly. Raced ungenerously throughout the early and middle stages. Rounding the home turn was hampered and carried wider.

Rounding the home turn hung out and took other runners wider on the track. Trainer was told that a warning will be placed on the gelding for hanging out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a minor wound in its mouth. Trainer advised stewards that the gelding will now be spelled.
