Shortly after the start, when being restrained from its wide barrier, commenced to race ungenerously and lost considerable ground. When questioned rider stated that the intention was to settle the horse in the back half of the field, however the mare resented being restrained. Trainer was reminded of his obligation to advise stewards of any change to riding tactics compared to the horse’s previous start.
