Bumped by another runner near the 300m. When questioned regarding the improved performance as compared to its previous start, trainer S. Royes stated that the horse was not suited by the pattern of racing at its last start when it raced back in the field and felt the gelding is much better suited when able to race in a forward position, which it was able to do today. Her explanation was noted. Ms Royes was advised that it would be expected for the horse to race in a similar pattern in future.
