On return to scale, Apprentice B. Nothdurft could offer no tangible explanation for the mares seemingly disappointing performance tonight. Trainer B. Currie expressed some disappointment with the performance tonight, however he advised that, in his opinion, the horse may not have been suited to the step up in distance to 1200m, and indicated that he will now look to drop the mare back in distance before its next start. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had shifted a plate on the off hind leg, however no abnormalities were detected. A swab sample was also taken from the mare.

On return to scale, jockey R. Williams reported that her mount commenced to yield ground at the 600m and, for that reason, she desisted from riding her mount out from the 450m and as a result tailed off. Stewards noted jockey Williams comments, however they advised that she is expected to place her mounts under pressure for longer than she did on this occasion.
