Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Hung out rounding the home turn. Apprentice B. Nothdurft reported that he had intended to obtain a forward position however, after being caught wide in the early stages, he believed he would be required to overly pressure the horse to obtain that position. He added that he therefore attempted to restrain to a position closer to the rails, however he was unable to obtain a position one off the fence and, as a result, he was obliged to race 3 wide.
