Raced in restricted room near the 1300m to the inside of WINSOME SAM which was taken in by GLENBAWNS DUTCHESS (App. E. Ljung) which shifted in when not completely clear. Apprentice E. Ljung was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances in the future. A post-race veterinary examination of the mare, which weakened over the concluding stages, revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer J. Dann advised that the horse will now be spelled immediately.
