Began awkwardly with its head in the air and lost ground. Apprentice J. Murphy reported that after beginning awkwardly his mount settled at the tail of the field, however prior to the race he had expected the horse to settle in this position. He added that whilst the filly made some late ground over the concluding stages, he was somewhat disappointed with its final sprint. Apprentice Murphy advised that, in his opinion, the filly may be looking for further distances than today’s event at this stage of its preparation.
