When questioned by Stewards regarding the performance, jockey E. Ljung advised that the filly raced keenly throughout and, as a result, was unable to finish the race off as expected. She added that, in her opinion, the filly has come to the end of its current preparation. A post-race veterinary examination of the filly revealed no apparent abnormalities.
