Bumped by LADY ELLEY when that runner shifted out approaching the 900m. Raced ungenerously and proved difficult to ride throughout, and near the 700m shifted out forcing POTRO DURO wider on the track. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer T. Dougall was advised that the gelding must barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.
