Steadied from heels near the 1000m. Hung out badly rounding the home turn and shifted wider on the track, and from that point took no competitive part in the race. A post-race veterinary examination of the colt revealed no apparent abnormalities. Trainer P. Nolan Jnr was advised that the colt must barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to next racing.
