When asked to comment on the performance of SO DAZZLING, jockey C. Williams stated that despite the wide barrier he could offer no excuses for the disappointing performance, and added that the filly raced plainly throughout. Trainer J. Sargent stated that he was of the opinion that the filly had no luck in running, and was better suited on rain effected tracks. He advised Stewards he would report back any condition that may come to light in the coming days that may have effected the filly’s performance. A post race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities.
