When crossed in the early stages raced keenly for some distance. Near the 800m, momentarily raced in restricted room to the inside of MENAZZI which was taken in slightly by FIRST SON. Apprentice Graham was advised to exercise greater care when crossing. When asked to comment, Jockey J. Molloy stated when placed under pressure the gelding did not respond as expected in the home straight.
