Approaching the 1300m restrained after improving onto heels. Restrained passing the 800m when the pace of the race slackened. Bumped leaving the 350m, became unbalanced before becoming awkward at heels.

Began awkwardly and lost ground. When asked to comment on performance, Rdr stated after being fractious and slow to begin, gelding proved disappointing, however was unable to offer any other explanation in regards to the performance. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs.
