Began very awkwardly and shifted in, bumping another runner. Raced keenly in the early and middles stages. Raced wide without cover throughout.

Slow to begin. Beaten $1.70 favourite. Stewards queried the tactics adopted on the filly. Apprentice reported his instructions were to lead if possible, however after being buffeted between runners on jumping, settled further back than anticipated and approaching the home turn was held up and was unable to obtain clear running. He added in the home straight when he was awkwardly placed on the inside of heels he was unable to obtain a clear run at that point. He further added that when he placed the filly under further pressure passing the 150m finished off well. Post-race vet - no abs.
