Stewards inquired into the reasons for SPILL THE DIAMONDS clipping heels, blundering and dislodging rider E Chaves after passing the winning post. Stewards established that over the concluding stages START STRUTTING, whilst weakening, shifted out to a position in front of SPILL THE DIAMONDS, which was finishing the race off strongly. As a result, SPILL THE DIAMONDS improved quickly onto the heels of START STRUTTING and was directed inwards to avoid that horses heels, in doing so SPILL THE DIAMONDS initiated contact with the hindquarters of ART HEIST, causing that horse to shift outwards result
