The mare which led and tired over the concluding stages underwent a post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormalities. When asked to comment on the performance, jockey K Wilson-Taylor advised that in his opinion the mare did not appreciate todays track conditions and may have found todays distance not to its liking.
