When questioned regarding the tactics used in today’s event apprentice C. Collis stated that he was advised to try and settle handy in the race and after jumping well elected to take a leading position. When also questioned Trainer P. Fleming confirmed the instructions given to apprentice Collis and further added that he was aware of the lack of pace of other runners in the race and had anticipated DIRTY DIARY settling in a forward position.
