A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the off-hind leg. Trainer C Anderson was advised DEEP HEART would require a veterinary clearance and must also trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start. C Anderson advised Stewards the filly would now be spelled.

Rider Andrew Spinks reported the mare was making an abnormal breathing noise on pulling up. Following a post-race veterinary examination Trainer P Hill was advised KATIE’S CASH would require a veterinary clearance including results of an endoscopic examination and additionally must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start. P Hill indicated KATIE’S CASH would now be retired.
