Slow to begin. Rider B. Thompson reported that the mare was making an abnormal respiratory noise over the concluding stages of the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor post-race recovery. Trainer K. Fogden advised that she would have an endoscopic examination conducted on the mare and would forward the results to stewards.
