Weaken badly in the straight and underwent a post-race veterinary examination which revealed no apparent abnormalities. Jockey J Orman when asked to comment stated that after travelling well the gelding failed to respond to his riding in the straight and proved disappointing. Jockey also added that today’s track conditions may have effected its performance. Trainers representative M Sharpe advised that the gelding would undergo further veterinary examinations which would include an endoscopic examination and report the findings back to stewards.
