Whilst weakening was tightened for room by ROMAN AUREUS, which shifted out to improve near the 350m. Jockey L. Cassidy was reprimanded for careless riding pursuant to AR131(a) for shifting outwards when not fully clear. On returning to scale, jockey J. Adams was found to be in excess of 1/2kg overweight. At a subsequent inquiry, jockey Adams pleaded guilty to a charge under AR211(1) and was fined $400.
