Forced wider passing the 800m and then raced wide for the remainder. Laid out round home turn and continued to do so when placed under pressure in the home straight. Rdr reported gelding may have come to the end of its preparation. Rep for Co-Tnr advised gelding would now be sent for an immediate spell.

Began very awkwardly and made heavy contact with the inside barrier partition. Commenced to lay out leaving the 1300m and shifted out abruptly near the 1200m, and after being crossed at the 800m, commenced to over-race, raced ungenerously and restrained and lost ground. Shifted out abruptly under pressure passing the 200m when struck with the whip. A post-race vet exam revealed lameness in the off hind leg. Tnr advised requires vet certi prior to its next race start and must also trial to Stewards satisfaction.
