When asked about performance, Rdr stated soon after placing mare under full pressure near the 100m, it put in an awkward stride, so elected to cease pressuring the mare for the remainder of the event. A post-race vet exam revealed a poor recovery. Require a vet clearance & must trial satisfactorily prior to racing again. Tnr advised would be conducting further vet tests on mare.
