Shifted out rounding the home turn bumping another runner. Trainer B Robinson was questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance. Mr Robinson advised that the horses trackwork had improved following its last start and based on this he had expected an improved performance. Mr Robinson added however that despite this he was still somewhat surprised the gelding was able to win today’s event and was unable to explain the significantly improved performance.
