RACE TWO

THREE OF THE BEST (3) has been freshened since a beaten fav when 4^th to ELENIARK back in mid-December. Handing over the front in that race he didn’t get the cleanest shot when 9m in arrears. He can press forward to be 1^st to the pegs that will open the options and he should be too good.

GET IN THE GROOVE (5) returns from a 6 month break and comes into this with a tidy trial to warm up for her return. Last seen when beaten 3m behind the talented MATTGREGOR, that followed a 3^rd behind the smart mare DELIGHTFUL MEMPHIS. Should improve on her achievement in this.

RACE THREE

STATEMENT PLEASE (8) has been runner-up in 3 of 5 appearances this season and last start was beaten 1m behind ARK PATROL after releasing the lead from gate 1. As the sole 2^nd line runner she can get away from the pegs early if needed and in this line-up she looks to get every chance.

GRIZZLY MONTANA (1) was taken back from gate 6 last start and went luck hunting along the inside. Finding gaps he was closing out strongly to get within 3m of the winner QUEEN ZENOBIA. With the gate advantage he has podium claims.

RACE FOUR

ALWAYS MY MATE (6) started from this gate 5 runs back over this trip and was attacking the line hard to go past them for a strong win. Since that win he has started over the mile each time, the latest in Sat night company when too far back. Out to the 2138m in this look for him finishing over the top.

FEEL THE FAITH (3) has been in good touch since returning from a break with a 3m 4^th to MAJESTIC MAJOR followed by a 3m 2^nd to FIREBBY when finishing hard. From the gate she can settle handy and will be right in the fight.

RACE FIVE

GOVINNI (2) had no problem in holding the front from gate 1 last start and once in control was never in danger. A similar winner from gate 5 here 3 starts back he can go straight to the front in this and if he can sneak a stanza they will be hard pressed running him down.

ROCKONBYE (1) finished best to arrive in time for a 2m victory over this trip 4 starts back. Her past 2 runs have been full of merit when making late ground and from the gate will be poised and ready to strike.

RACE SIX

LISA LINCOLN (4) has run into some handy ones since arriving in Qld and has been runner-up to both COLT THIRTY ONE and FAME ASSURED in her past 3 starts. Sent forward from the 2^nd line last start she worked hard which didn’t suit. Fired off the arm here she can go to the front and dictate.

ONLY ONE PROMISE (1) was forced to work hard in the run last start when forcing his way to the front over the 2138m trip but couldn’t repel AQUA MISS to finish 3m away. He hit the line well when 4^th to FAME ASSURED 2 starts back and will be in the mix.

GOTTA GLOW (9) was claimed out of the final last start and lines up here for the Chantal Turpin barn. Shooting for a hat-trick in the final she rolled forward early and forced her way to the front before being grabbed late. Sent forward again here she will be fighting hard.

MAJOR KIWI (3) lands a tidy gate for the 1^st time in his past 5 starts where he has been closing out in good style but unable to land the knock-out blow. He worked home nicely last start behind OUR MELS DREAM and from the gate can be closer to the action to issue a challenge.
