Race 6 – Jimibramz (2) – A lightly raced 4 year old who has worked through the grades impressively. He resumes here and may need the run. Having said that he finished off last preparation in good style with two wins at Toowoomba and a length third here so he is capable of featuring.

Race 7 – I’ve Got Friends (11) – Has been a long time since the five year-old gelding has won a race but he has been a consistent horse for the stable. Was only narrowly beaten last start at Gatton after racing three wide with no cover the whole trip.

Race 3: Exceedingly Brave (3) – 3 year old gelding having his first start.  He hasn’t been seen publicly so betting will be your best guide. The carpark draw makes things tough.

Race 6: Exceedingly Kool (1) – Was building a nice little picket fence with three wins in a row before being beaten half a length at Toowoomba last time out. He has the early speed to cross from the wide gate.

Race 3: Greynomad (6) - Big price at his first 3 starts before being well backed last time out over 1850m at Toowoomba. Cost himself a chance by over racing that day but still only beaten 4 lengths. This may be too short for him first-up.

Race 4: Seq The Star (8) – It has been 609 days since the 5 year old mare won a race as a 3 year old at Toowoomba. Seems to do a bit wrong in her races which doesn’t help her. Was only beaten 1.8 lengths last time out at the track and distance. Looks unlikely in this field.

Race 6: Wine Barrel (11) – This guy is a good honest horse who is never far away. Was beaten by the Grant Arnold trained Exceedingly Kool (see above) a length first-up this prep. He was laying in at the top of the straight which didn’t help his chances. He can improve second-up.

Race 7: Rejuvenate (12) – He’s undefeated in two starts at the track. He fought on last time out at Ipswich after beginning slowly. Martinelli who won that race has since won in town. Despite winning his only start over this course and distance, he could be suspect late.
