He was beaten just over a length that day. He will appreciate the drop in weight and class on Friday.

He has made the trip up to Rockhampton twice for two wins. Both those wins were from the inside gate and up on the speed. A similar scenario would see him go close again.

Was given a month between his last two runs and it has been another three weeks since his last start at Ipswich.
He was never in the race that day finishing 11th of 12 however his form previous to that was consistent. Another of the Taylor runners that will appreciate a trip up north.
