Danni-elle and Narissa McMullen sit atop the 10-driver field following the opening day of the 2018 Queensland Young Drivers Championship.
Narissa comes into the series as the defending Australasian Young Driving Champion, and got her campaign off to perfect start, steering the Richard Hutchinson-trained Grinvil to a win in Heat 1.
Not to be outdone, sister Danni-elle stepped up to the plate in Heat 2 to score a dominant victory on the Turpin/McMullen-trained Argyle Beach.
The sisters now sit on 22 points apiece, with Isobel Ross (18 points) rounding out an all-female top-three after the opening day.
The action moves to the Redcliffe Harness Racing Club on Friday evening, before heading back to the 'big smoke' at Albion Park on Saturday night.
