This weekend shapes as a crucial checkpoint on the road to the $200,000 UBET Blacks A Fake Queensland Championship at Albion Park on July 21.
The UBET all-in market may change complexity after key races in Queensland and interstate, including the Listed Wondai’s Mate in Brisbane and the Group 1 Len Smith Mile in Sydney.

The race named after one of Queensland’s past champions will provide a glimpse of potential future champions to come.
Comeback kid Hughie Green returns for his second start after a 364-day injury layoff, following his scintillating win at Albion Park last weekend, while Our Uncle Sam will look to go back-to-back after winning the Listed Lucky Creed.
The race also features the 2016 UBET Blacks A Fake winner Ohoka Punter, which will now be trained by Queensland’s leading horseman, Grant Dixon.

The Black Prince will line up at Newcastle on Saturday night, resuming after his G2 Carousel Victory at Menangle back in April. A strong showing would aid his chances heading toward the Queensland Derby.

The Grant Dixon-trained Red Charmer will go around at Menangle on Sunday in the Breeders Challenge Final. Last year’s Group 1 2YO QBRED Fillies Triad winner also finished second in the 3YO Final at Albion Park on May 12.
Former New Zealand mare Needle continues to impress in Queensland for trainer Brad Connelly. She will be out to secure her 10th win in 11 starts since joining the Connelly stable in January, and will be one of the leading contenders heading into the Queensland Trotters Cup on July 14.
