RACE TWO

OSCARS GLORY (3) pressed ahead from gate 6 at AP on Monday and finding the front was looking to hold them out when grabbed in the closing stages by ZALTA. With good early speed he can take his shot here and if able to pinch a panel in front will take some stopping.

BROADWATER (5) couldn’t find position from a wide gate last start and was snagged back to get into the running line. He closed well to finish best of the chasers behind a big winner TROUBLESOME DAVE. Fitter from 3 runs back he can give this a shake.

THE NEXT STAR (1) returns from a break and should appreciate this type of race. Buried in the run last start when down the line behind THE HARLEM HAMMER, she has blown the cobwebs out in a strong trial that places here well against this company. The cosy trip suits for her return.

JUSTATIC (7) was working in the run at AP on Mon when sent forward from the 2^nd line to the breeze and tried to fight on. Back to a cosy ride here he can take the shortcuts and finish in the money.

RACE THREE

BIG BEAT (4) didn’t have the greatest luck last start when trying to find position and was carted back before finishing off strongly to be 5m from LETHAL PROMISE. Only 5m from INVITE ONLY via the passing lane 3 starts back he can lay down the gauntlet in this type of race.

JANIES GOT A GUN (3) was a winner here 5 starts back when pressing on to find the front from gate 4 and then dictating terms to score by a head. She has met some handy performers since that win and with the chance to dictate here will be gripping on in the stretch.

MICKY RAMAONE (2) will take some benefit from his 1^st look at the Redcliffe triangle here last week when handing over the front from gate 1 and finding SLICE OF HEAVEN far too classy. This looks more suitable.

SOPHIES PRIDE (9) was buried away on the pegs last start and sprinted sharply when the gap opened to arrive for the win. With the right cart into the contest she has exotic hopes here.

RACE FOUR

CHIKA MATTGREGOR (2) has been outclassed at AP in 2 of her past 3 starts and will appreciate getting back to the triangle in this grade of race. Starting from gate 9 here 2 starts back her closing effort was solid when 6m from the winner. Given a chance to light the lamps she might prove hard to stop.

DIAMANTINA DEVIL (5) returns from a break and was last seen back in Dec when making an error in the run. Given 2 trials to prepare for his return, the 2^nd of those was a tidy effort and suggests when he lands the right draw he can go close to a victory.

DEADLY ROCKER (3) made his Qld debut when finishing down the line behind SLICE OF HEAVEN after striking trouble in the run. With better luck here he can return a much improved effort.

PRIVATE JUJON (8) had no luck last start when looking for open space and did well to be just 4m from the winner ZALTA. Trailing through early to settle handy he is an exotic hope in this.

RACE FIVE

COMIGAL (1) was off the 2^nd row last start when finishing 4m from THE GUN ROCKSTAR in an Aspirational and was closing out in good style. Not beaten far at her past 4 starts, she has been within 5m of CHERISH THE MOMENT and GET IN THE GROOVE. With options she will be hard to stop.

MY MASTERCRAFTSMAN (3) was a winner her 6 starts back over the 1780m trip after gaining the pocket trail from inside the 2^nd line. His run last start behind the talented OUR UNCLE SAM was a perfect warm for this type of race and he looms as a huge threat.

CALCAVADO (2) made a rare miss last start when they came home too hard up front after taken back from gate 6. That was the 1^st time he has missed a place in 8 starts and with the good gate he can get back in the money here.

TED WEST (7) makes his Qld debut and has been taking on the claiming grade in Sydney where he has been forced to work hard at his past 3 starts. With a cosy trip here he can look for a placing.

RACE SIX

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (2) lands his best gate for some time and with the early advantage over his main dangers can look to take control. His run 3 back was a tough effort when cutting the breeze and beaten a head. Luckless when buried away last start he gets his chance to cash-in here.

DARBY BRIGHTS (9) had been campaigning strongly in AP races and then dropping back to Redcliffe company made the most of things from gate 8 to roll forward to the breeze and proved too strong in scoring a 3m victory. Sent forward again here she will lay down a strong challenge.

TELLELLA (7) will need her luck from this gate as she looks likely to be buried in transit. Consistent this season with a top 3 at 7 of her 9 outings she was only 3m from DARBY BRIGHTS last start.

BUDDY BABCOCK (8) took them all the way from gate 1 at AP last start in restricted company in running a career best rate. That followed a pair of runs when making errors. With the right trail he can feature.

TELL THE LINESMAN (2) will be further tightened from his latest start when 2^nd up from a break. Slow to get into the action last start he rallied late to be 9m from the winner MICKEE CULLEN. His 1^st up run behind LISA LINCOLN had merit and a much sharper effort can be expected here.

ROCKNROLL DUDE (7) will need his slice of luck, however if the 1 does happen to look for an all the way effort he will be coiled and ready for the sniper shot. Only beaten a neck after a tough run at Penrith 2 starts back, he will be in the fight.

TAP IT IN (8) was given time to balance up before rolling to the breeze to stare down the leader and then score a tough win over the 1780m. This is tougher but following through he can find position and fitter for 2 runs back can throw down the challenge.

BETTOR WATCH HIM (1) worked hard in the run at AP last start and that didn’t work when fading out. His run at Marburg 2 back was a tidy effort and with the ace gate will have the options.

COURAGEOUS LEO (6) has the wide gate to overcome here but should appreciate this class of race and will be fitter from his latest outing when 2^nd to IOWNATURBO. Trying to make ground along the passing lane in a slick closing panel he just couldn’t make up the deficit. He looks to have the class here.

DOWNAN OUT (2) took on a 2138m at AP 2 starts back and used the passing lane to grab the bronze behind the fast finishing SOLDIER OF FORTUNE. He worked home in good style from gate 5 last start over the 2040m trip and from the good gate can look to feature in this.

DOOLITTLE DANDY (1) worked hard in the run over the sprint trip when holding in for 3^rd and has taken on 2^nd division qualifiers in Sat night company his past 2. A cosy trip can see him place here.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (5) is racing well without the greatest of luck and last start struck trouble when holding 2^nd behind the tear-away winner SLICE OF HEAVEN. With even luck he can podium here.
