Promising filly Light Up The Room confirmed her status as a filly to watch this summer when she handed Tony Gollan his fourth win on the Doomben program in the QTIS Three-Year-Old Handicap.
It followed earlier wins for the stable with Galtero, Umberto and Prue's Angel.
With Gollan in Sydney, stable rep Holly Williams found herself at the centre of media attention for much of the afternoon.
"I'm starting to wear out a bit, but it's all good," she said.
However, Light Up The Room's ($10) performance in beating Eskdale Girl and stablemate Shamurt put an added spring in her step.
"We've had a big opinion of her right since the beginning," Williams said.
The filly by So You Think out of Redoute's Choice mare Aliberani started twice during the Winter, winning a maiden at the Gold Coast before finishing third to the talented Granny Red Shoes in the Listed Winning Edge Stakes.
Winning jockey Brad Stewart lauded the filly after the win gave him a double for the day.
"It's the first time I've ridden her but she won like a good filly and gave me a really good feel," he said.
"I got out at the right time and she won well."
