RACE TWO

SIXPENNY RED (4) started from the 2^nd line last start and copped a bump in the early stages which ended her hopes. Runner-up over the AP mile 2 starts back when 6m from the winner she can look to settle in a handy position and look to open her 3YO term.

MAYWYN TOUGH (5) has started twice since returning from a break and will line up here 5 weeks since his second-up run. Rolling forward early before finding cover last start he was sound to the line. The gate hurts but he can look to issue a challenge.

TODAYS HERO (2) is a well-bred gelding on debut for the Chantal Turpin barn. By Mach Three out of the former handy mare Tori Maguire, his latest trial suggests he will be winning a race soon.

SPRINGFIELD DESIRE (1) returns from a spell after 5 starts early in his 2YO term where he was a winner on debut. From the good e he will be right in the mix.

RACE THREE

HEAVENS HINT (7) found the pocket trail here over the 1780m trip 3 starts back when chasing home into the bronze behind PRECIOUS CULLEN. Her latest run was in a stronger contest taken out by MAYWYNS COURAGE and with the cosy trip will be coiled and ready to strike.

ROCKWITH THEDEVIL (1) worked hard in the run at AP 2 starts back and dug in for the fight to get within a neck of the winner. Starting from gate 6 at his past 2 starts he can look to take the early advantage from the improved gate and will be looking to grip on in the closing stages.

VALTONA (5) was 1^st up in Qld last start and never really worked into the contest when well held behind GOODTIME STRIDE. Fitter from that outing he can be an improver here.

FAMOUS SHOES (9) did his share of work last start and then couldn’t finish it off after rolling forward from gate 5. He has no favours from this gate but with the right early trail has exotic hopes.

RACE FOUR

CC JONES (1) was 1^st up in Qld last start and off the back of some impressive trials to prepare for the debut looked well placed. From inside the 2^nd line he had no luck whatsoever and was buried in the run without getting a shot. Trialling nicely since that, he can look to make the most of the ace gate.

ONE OFF (6) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts and both when working in the breeze after rolling forward from wide gates. A winner of 3 in succession he found MR KALYPSO too slick when fighting best of the chasers to hold 2^nd. The gate makes it a little sticky yet he looks very classy.

PAY ME INTEREST (5) has been racing in nice touch and last start did plenty of work in the run when fighting on gamely to hold 4^th. She has met some handy types in recent starts and is in the mix here.

SUBTLE ADVICE (7) settled in the pocket trail last start and chased home to grab the bronze behind COREY WILLIAM over the 2138m. With a soft trip expected here he can look for a podium finish.

RACE FIVE

OFFICIANADO (8) was forced to do the heavy lifting last start when wide out on the track and looking to make ground couldn’t work into it. He had met some handy types prior to that and from this gate can look to press through early to find position and be looking to swoop home hard.

OCEANS PREDATOR (2) started from the 2^nd line at AP last start when fading out of the contest behind the smart SECRET JACK. Freshened since that outing he can look to make the most of his opportunities and from the gate will be in the thick of the action.
 
CIRCLE LINE (1) found his race here at Redcliffe 5 starts back and from gate 2 continued to force the issue until leading them up and once in control was never in danger.

THE GOLDEN CROSS (6) is still looking for an opening here from his most recent start when he went to the line untested. He has no luxury from this gate but can be thereabouts.

RACE SIX

MAYWYNS COURAGE (8) completed a hat-trick of victories last start when stalking the leader all the way and then taking the snipers shot up the passing lane. His past winners have both been impressive efforts and with even luck in transit can look to make it 4 on the bounce.

KEY LARGO (4) wasn’t suited last start when following the speed from too far back. A passing lane 2^nd 3 starts back he sprinted sharply once the gap opened, he has good early speed and can look to take up a handy position. This is within reach.

PATERNITY SUIT (7) will need plenty of luck from this gate as he looks set to be buried in the run. He found his race 2 starts back and duly put them away and last start did his share of work and dug in gamely. Just needs an opening.

ADRIFT (3) has a great record here at Redcliffe where he has been in the money at 9 of 12 outings. He has met some smart performers in recent starts and with this a shade easier he can feature.

RACE SEVEN

THREO (1) took on claiming company last start and from the 2^nd line was keen in the run when looking to issue a closing challenge. That followed a defeat when starting fav and looking to take them all the way. Winless here on the triangle he lands the gate to attempt to change that.

OUTLAW FELLA (6) has the tough gate to overcome but is the class runner of the field. His latest was a tough effort when facing the breeze and fighting gamely. His run two starts back was full of merit after striking trouble in the run. This is within reach.

KOTARE YORK (7) looked to take them all the way last start but couldn’t see it out after a slick opening panel. At his first look at Redcliffe he will be probing for an opening.

CORPORAL LUNA (3) has hit the board in 4 of 8 attempts at the triangle. He can look to find a cheap run in transit and be hitting the line with purpose.

RACE EIGHT

FRANCO TOTEM (7) will need to see a slice of luck from this gate however if he sees track with time on his side, he should be able to capitalise. Too far back when trying to work into a strongly run tempo by the airborne MR KALYPSO last start he just needs to sight an opening.

GOODTIME STRIDE (1) has raced her way back into some top form to start the season with a top 3 in 6 of 9 appearances with 4 of those victories. Working home wide out behind MR KALYPSO last start, the effort was solid and she has the options to kick strongly here.

LENNY THE LEGEND (8) will have the early option to dart to the pegs if need be in what may become a peg dominated contest. Runner-up in 3 of his past 5 starts he will be steaming home late.

CHRISTIAN TORADO (5) will take some benefit from his latest run when 1^st up in Qld since joining the Dixon barn. He hit the line in good order in that and with even luck in transit is a multiple hope.
