RACE TWO

RUTHLESS ARMBRO (2) had been working towards a win with some handy performances from tough gates and then last start was able to take advantage to cash-in. Rolling to the breeze from gate 3 he was able to grind out a tough win to score by a head over the 1780m trip. This is no harder than that contest and he can go back-to-back.

MO JARNEY (3) followed home from a 2^nd line gate at Marburg 2 starts back to grab 3^rd when he never saw space to issue a challenge to the leader and winner REAL KNUCKY. Too far back in a much stronger 2^nd division qualifier on Sat night, he can make the most of this gate and his early speed.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (1) worked in the run last start when pressing ahead to find the breeze and was sticking on to hold 3^rd to SACHE GIRL. With a cosy trip here he can look for inside runs in the stretch.

LOORIM LAD (4) wasn’t too far away last start at Marburg behind JAX NAVARO which followed a tidy effort from a wide gate here when making a wide run over the 1780m trip. He isn’t far away from a win in the right line-up.

RACE THREE

MAJOR SEASCAPE (1) will take great benefit from his latest outing when 1^st up from a break and stepping out as a 3YO for the 1^st time. Starting from this gate over the 1780m trip he took cover and then angled wide in the closing stages stormed home to score. That was a stylish effort and he can look to repeat.

MONTANA CHIEF (9) has faced the starter 3 times now this season since returning from a break and is slowly starting to put it together. Starting from this gate last time out, he went hard at the 650m to make a charge and get to the front and then was nabbed late by the swooping MAJOR SEASCAPE. Fitter and more experienced he can go close again.

GUNRNEEDABIGRBOAT (4) will take benefit from his 1^st run here last week in a restricted event where he worked hard in the run as a red figure fav. Fighting on for the silver he will be in the mix again here.

TODAYS HERO (8) will take some experience and confidence from his last start win off gate 5 when having just his 2^nd career start. Hitting the line nicely he scored a 3m victory. The gate hurts but he can feature.

RACE FOUR

ROCKING (7) was absolutely luckless here 2 starts back when returning from a break after being shuffled back from an inside 2^nd line gate and hitting dead-ends all the way up the stretch. After releasing the front from gate 1 last start she couldn’t go when the sprint went on. With even luck she can capitalise this time.

BETTOR BE LUCKY (3) has started twice since returning from a break and while the 1^st up effort was sound behind ARGYLE BEACH, he was a shade disappointing last start over when fading out over the 2040m trip. Back to the sprint trip is a big plus and pressing forward can look to turn it around.

JESTER OH JESTER (1) started from gate 2 last start and never looked likely to be able to find the pegs and was then never in the mix. His run 2 back was a tidy effort and from the ace can be sharper.

DIVAS DELIGHT (4) will take some benefit from his latest run when returning from a freshen he did the heavy lifting in the run over the 2040m. Finding position will be key to his chances.

RACE FIVE

BLUE MOON RISING (1) took on a qualifier at his Qld debut and after doing some work to find the breeze was able to score cover. However the cover came at a cost when he was pocketed when he needed the run. Forcing clear he was good to the line for 3^rd to ANNA BAY AL. From the gate he can look to dictate.

TOOK YOUR TIME (5) shoots for the hat-trick after wins at the 1780m and 2040m at his past 2 starts. Sent to the front from gate 3 last start he ran even panels to take them all the way for a 2m victory. This is a step up from what he has been facing but in good form he can look to challenge.

PATERNITY SUIT (9) had been taken back from gates 5 and 6 and struggling to work into the contest. Last start from gate 5 he was sent forward with the change paying dividends. Getting to the front he controlled the speed and never looked in danger. The 2^nd line hurts but he is in the mix.

PRECIOUS CULLEN (7) hit the line in good order last start to claim the silver in a 2^nd division qualifier behind RAFFERTY DELIGHTS when only beaten a half-neck. He will get a great trip here and be ready to take the snipers shot.

RACE SIX

TRILIGHT BRIGADE (4) was a nice winner at her Qld debut when taking on a restricted race and finishing hard over the top in slick time. Last start off a 2^nd line gate she did all the work when pressing to the breeze and digging in for the fight behind PATERNITY SUIT. She can capitalise here.

THE BOYS GNP (9) is yet to miss a top-two finish in Qld after 5 starts. Last  start he was going in search of a hat-trick of victories when starting from gate 5 he found position and was charging home to get within a nose of victory behind TASSINI. From the tricky gate he will be swooping late.

PACIFIC DRUMS (6) had looked to have plenty of chances to break his Qld maiden but just kept finding ways to run 2^nd. Over the 2040m here 2 starts back he changed that when leading all the way for a top win and backed it up 2 days later with another win. The gate hurts but now he has the winning confidence he can feature.

GOT THE GOODS (5) was a winner from this gate 2 starts back when finishing over the top in good order to score. Handing over after finding the pegs last start he chased home into 3^rd. If the pace is too hot he will be finishing hard.
