RACE TWO

LINCOLN ROAD (6) has taken a few starts to find his rhythm since arriving in Qld but in his past 3 has really put it together, claiming a hat-trick of victories. Sent forward from gate 5 last start he was able to find the pegs and packed too many guns over the 2138m trip. There looks some good tempo in this and he can finish best.

THE BOYS GNP (1) worked in the breeze last start and was in for the fight when taking the silver behind LINCOLN ROAD and beaten 3m. A winner here 4 starts back when working home from a long way back to arrive for the prize, he looks set to get a great trip here and can be ready to sprint late.

GOLDEN YEAR (2) shoots for the hat-trick and 4^th win from his past 5. Finding the front from gate 4 over the mile here 2 starts back, he was tough from the breeze last start. He can go mighty close.

COREY WILLIAM (5) worked ahead from gate 5 last start over the mile and after the tough run held on to win by a nose. There has been some form out of that race and he will be right in the fight.

RACE THREE

PRESLEYBEGOOD (2) returns to start her 3YO term after a 1^st season of racing that realised a pair of wins, including her last outing for the term when a stylish winner in the Triad Consolation. Sent forward from the 2^nd line she was too strong for her opponents and with a pair of trials to prepare will be hard to stop.

CAPITALIZE (4) had started twice over the 2138m trip at his 1^st 2 runs back from a spell. His last run had merit when back to the  and was hitting the line in good order after striking some trouble in the run. A front line gate is a huge plus and he can look to throw down a challenge.
SIGNORINA JUJON (9) raced in the pocket trail last start after starting from gate 1 and held on for the bronze. Her 2^nd over the mile 3 starts back was a strong effort and she can place here.

ALOT OF COST (6) has been in the money in 5 of 6 starts for the season as he looks for his 1^st win of the term. He worked to the front last start from this same gate and will throw down the challenge.

RACE FOUR

STIRLING WILLIAM (4) is nearing a win in the claiming ranks after placings at his past 3 starts, with the most recent when starting fav and beaten 6m behind OUR MELS DREAM. From the gate he can look to find a handy position and can be finishing over the top to take his 1^st win of the season,

OUR MELS DREAM (10) was rewarded for his consistency last start when finishing best from back in the pack after starting from gate 7. His run 3 back was when only beaten a neck and with some mid-race pressure can look to make the most of his chances.

COMPLY OR DIE (6) was forced to cover some early metres when wide out on his way to finding the front. After a tough run he only faded late and wasn’t beaten far. Never far away he can feature.

CLASSY GUY (5) found the front from gate 3 over the mile here 4 starts back and was able to take them all the way. Forget his last 2 starts where he has met with some trouble, he can be sharper here.

RACE FIVE

GOALKICKER (4) found the pocket trail last start and was only 4m from the winner BLINGITTOTHEMAX through a slick closing 400m split. A winner over the 2138m here 5 starts back when dictating from the front, this is much easier and she looks to get every chance.

MONTANA CHIEF (9) was crossed in the early stages off gate 1 here last start and then from the pocket trail had to be content with the silver. Tough from the breeze 2 starts back when mid-field behind MORROCH BAY, he will need some luck here but cant be dismissed.

OUR MEMPHIS MAC (1) was locked away on the pegs last start and was sound to the line. He struk trouble at AP 2 starts back and with the cosy trip from this gate can chime in.

VILLAGE CRUISER (8) found his race 3 starts back at Marburg and from gate 2 pounced on the pegs and kept the speed on to score. Placed at his next 2 starts, he should enjoy the cosy trip.

RACE SIX

PARAVANI (2) will strip fitter from his run in the heats of this final where he was 1^st up in Aus. Finding the front he kept the speed on all the way to score by a comfortable 18m. That run was in some solid sectional splits and from the gate can look to find the front and keep them chasing.

MACHITELLI (1) will be further tightened from her latest start when 2^nd up from a break. Finding position from gate 4 she chased gamely to be 10m from the winner. Taking on the mile when resuming she secured a cosy trip when 2^nd to MORROCH BAY and from the gate looks a quinella hope.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (11) resumed for his 3YO season and rolling forward from gate 3 was forced to do all the hard work outside PARAVANI. Fitter from that outing, he will need some luck here to chime in late.

CHERRYS THE BEST (8) was too strong from the breeze at Redcliffe 2 starts back when 1^st up from a break. A beaten red figure fav in the heat, she will be probing for openings.

RACE SEVEN

OASIS DREAM (2) is approaching 18 months without a victory but this looks to be his race. He was wide off the track last start when trying to work home behind MORROCH BAY and the start prior was taken back from gate 5 to find position. From the gate he can get a great trip and be ready to cash-in.

ONLY IN ROME (5) will strip fitter following his return to the track last start when 1^st up from a spell. Beaten off gate 7, the run had merit when working home in good order after snagging back early. Despite a tricky gate, if he can find position without being too far back he can challenge.

OMINOUS FLYER (4) was rewarded for consistency last start when finding his race he was able to take control from the front and score a comfortable win. With the confidence of that win he is in the mix.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (3) was in for the fight last start from gate 3 when working hard in the breeze over the mile and finishing 2m from the winner. That followed a 2^nd from the pocket trail and in the small field he can podium.

RACE EIGHT

SOMEDASH (4) is going better than her numbers suggest and that was justified last start when closing out strongly to arrive for the victory from a 10m impost. Her previous 3 starts all had merit after being a victim of circumstance and the extra 10m here shouldn’t be an issue in this line-up.

HIGH CLOUD LASS (2) will be further tightened following her latest start when 2^nd up from a break. Locked away on the pegs she was finding the line in good order to grab 3^rd. From the 10m here she can get away cleanly to settle in a prominent position and can give plenty of cheek.

MISTER OZ (5) looked to have found his race here on Tues and after a safe start had made light work of the 30m. Cutting the breeze he was under pressure to fade out. Forgiving that run he can be in the mix.

JUSTABITCOCO (6) was a 1^st up winner when working home strongly from well back to score a tidy victory. Banished to the trials last start for making an error, she returns her ticket back to the track and the small field will suit her pattern
