RACE TWO

SPIKE BROMAC (1) was fired off the arm here 3 starts back from gate 6 and finding the front kept the tempo on and broke clear to score a 7m victory. Grabbed late at his next outing and falling a half-had short, he will appreciate getting back to the mile after his last start 2138m and can dictate.

SECRET JACK (6) sat back and watched the speed up front here on Tues and then with 600m to run was injected into the contest and went straight past them. Putting up a 25m margin it was a dominant return to wining form and if the tempo is hot he can burn home late.

KETUT (8) was after the hat-trick here on Tues when taking on claiming company and after being buried in the run chased late when 6m from the winner. With the cosy trip he is a podium player.

ARGYLE BEACH (10) did it the tough way here last start and was in for the fight when 2m from the passing lane winner MAKOA. That followed successive wins and she can be swooping home hard.

RACE THREE

CLINTAL DO (8) took on a mid-week FFA here 2 starts back and from gate 5 was able to finish over the top to score a stylish victory, running home in some smart sections. Starting from this gate last week he was facing a task with MARETTI carving it out up front. Just needs a rub of the green.

WHISKEY BLAZE (1) has been runner-up at his past 3 in succession with the past 2 from wide gates. He was best of the chasers here on Tues when Secret Jack blew the race apart and that followed a strong finishing burst after snagging back from gate 7. With the cosy trip he will be ready to strike.

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (4) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins at both the mile and 2138m trip. He finished best up the passing lane last start and with the right trip he is right in the fight.

OUTLAW FELLA (7) has won 2 of his past 3, with both victories over the 2138m trip and both when able to lead them up. The lead wont be on offer here but finding position with a strong tempo he can feature.

RACE FOUR

TENNYSON BROMAC (4) looks well placed here if unable to gain a start at Menangle where is the 1^st Emergency for the Chariots qualifier. Set alight from the 2^nd line early in a Rising Stars Final last start he fought hard for the bronze. A strong winner at his Aus debut the start prior, he is the test here.

AQUA MISS (5) was closing out in good order last start after settling a long way back in the pack and may have even finished closer with a cleaner passage than the 7m she was behind FAME ASSURED. Tough from the breeze 2 starts back, she will be right in the fight here.

OUR MAJOR DAY (6) has placed his past 3 starts and is crying out to win a race when he can get conditions to suit. He did a mountain of work last start when only beaten 5m and the start prior ran into the airborne MARETTI. Can place again.

THE BOYS GNP (9) found running lien cover last start and was looking to take the closing shot when 2m from the winner. He did his share of work 2 starts back and can be chiming into the exotics here.

RACE FIVE

GLENFERRIE HOOD (11) secured a nice run in transit last start after starting from inside the 2^nd line and then angled wide was able to finish over the top for a stylish win. The start prior he was sent to the breeze from the 2^nd line and was in for the fight when under 2m from the winner. With even luck he can arrive for the prize.

SLICE OF HEAVEN (12) made the most of conditions last start and finding the pegs from gate 6 over this trip took control. With a steady opening half, he was able to amp the power coming home and put the final panel behind him in 26.3 to score. He has no favours from the alley but continues to take the rise in his stride.

INVINCIBLE LOXTON (7) will be fitter following his return to the track after a break. Charging through the grades last prep, he was luckless on return when unable to find position. Pressing ahead early looks an option here and he can feature.

LILAC FLASH (9) will be tightened from his return last start where he was strong to the line and only 1.5m from SLICE OF HEAVEN. He will need some factors in his favour but look for him charging home.

RACE SIX

IM WITH LEXY (8) made her Qld debut last start when working hard in the breeze and fighting to the line when 2m from the winner PAY ME INTEREST. Her run 2 starts back at Menangle was a solid effort when hitting the line in good order from well back when 10m in arrears. She can strike late.

OUR BONDI BEACH (1) steps out in Qld for the 1^st time and arrives after finishing well down the track last start at Newcastle. He found the line in good order over the 2030m trip 3 starts back to grab the silver. Given a trial to prepare for this, he looks set to get the conditions to be right in the fight.

MONIVAE (4) started fav last time out at Marburg and was strong to the line when wide off the track and chasing hard to finish in 2^nd position. Settling closer he can ask some questions in the run here.

GOLDEN YEAR (10) snagged back early last start from gate 5 and was closing out in good order to be 4m from the winner. He charged late when buried in the run 2 starts back and can be swooping hard.

RACE SEVEN

VILLAGE CRUISER (2) was locked in behind the leader in the heat of this Marburg to AP series and when the space opened to chase the race was gone. A strong Marburg winner 7 starts back in good time when leading throughout, he has placed in 5 runs since and can look to take control here.

REGAL ROCK (9) never saw space in the heat and has managed to sneak through to the final. That start prior he followed the pegs to grab the bronze behind the smart PARAVANI in a Gold Pot Final and with the right run through in the early stages here can issue a strong challenge.

ROYAL TAZ (1) sat in the pocket trail at Redcliffe 2 starts back and was storming home late to get within a half-head of ARK PATROL. With a soft trip here he can look to close out late.

ACE MONTANA (5) broke his maiden status at Redcliffe 2 starts back when leading them all the way from gate 1. Trying to make late ground in his Marburg heat, he can be chiming in late in this.

RACE EIGHT

MIRACLE RISING (9) will take benefit from his return to the track last start when sent to the post as fav he was trying to pick up late ground when 5m away from the winner to claim the bronze. Only 3m off MONARO MIA in the DJA Final 2 starts back, he looks well placed off 10m to take this.

NEEDLE (11) has been runner-up at her past 3 starts, the latest was when doing all the hard yards outside the leader and she went within a nose hair of victory. That followed a strong run under mobile conditions when wide. She can show her class to overcome the tough 20m impost.

QUIETLY SPOKEN (7) was in for the fight last start when running the winner MISTER GUNSEN to a 2m margin. That followed a tidy effort from a 10m tape and back to the front here can feature.

SPUD (10) has been freshened since his last appearance when taking on a mobile 2138m trip and never looking comfortable in the run. He can be sharper and at his best can throw down a challenge.

RACE NINE

ADRIFT (4) has been meeting some stronger opponents in recent starts and been thereabouts without really threatening. 2 starts back he worked home in good order behind OUTLAW FELLA and the start prior was just too far back. With a hit-out on Thurs, he can bob-up in an open contest.

RUATO BAY (9) worked hard in the run over the 2280m trip at Redcliffe 4 starts back and fought all the way when 3^rd. His run 2 starts back had merit when 6m from the winner after striking some trouble in the run and with a Thurs warm-up can get the right trip to finish hard here.

READILY (1) was snagged back from gate 6 last start and was well back in the pack when trying to make ground along the pegs. From the gate he will get the cosy run and be probing for openings.

THE GOLDEN CROSS (5) will strip fitter from his latest run when 1^st up. 2 starts back he chased from the pocket trail for 3^rd to SOMEMONDOSOMEWHERE. His return was sound and can feature here.

RACE TEN

FAME ASSURED (5) is 4 from 4 since returning at 4 and has done it all from tough gates along the way. Last start from gate 6 she pressed ahead to the breeze before receiving cover and packed too many guns in the run home to score. Back to mares only company, she looks to have them covered.

PAY ME INTEREST (1) would have been a solid chance of claiming a hat-trick of victories had FAME ASSURED been absent. It is still a race and from the ace she will get the great trip and be coiled and ready for the closing shot, a position she was a winner from last start. Will be taking her shot.

TRILIGHT BRIGADE (2) was returning from a freshen last start and wasn’t suited when snagging back from gate 7 and then chasing against the tempo. With the improved gate she can be much sharper.

MIGHT AND MAIN (8) used the passing lane to grab the bronze at Redcliffe 2 starts back and looks set for another cosy trip. With the pegs the best place in this race she can be chiming in late.
