A Man To Match, which was among the favourites to win last year's Eagle Way Stayers Series, has firmed from $15-$9 according to TAB.
The gelding finished sixth behind Gem Song in the G3 Gunsynd Classic (1600m) at Eagle Farm last month but has form over the 2000m at Doomben, with one win from his only attempt.
The best supported runner ahead of TAB Doomben 10,000 Day remains the Chris Waller trained Nature Strip, which attracted bets totalling $200,000 from a single punter following acceptances on Wednesday.
Darby Racing fans have also chipped away at both of the syndicator's runners in the G2 Champagne Classic, with Disruptor ($17-$10) and Jagged Edge ($9.50-$5) both attracting support.
