Apprentice Adin Thompson and jockey Les Tilley have escaped serious injury following a fall in Race 3 at Beaudesert on Saturday.
Both riders will be required to produce medical clearances and undergo cognitive tests before riding again.
Tilley told Racing Queensland he plans to be back riding at Rockhampton on Tuesday where he's looking forward to partnering promising two-year-old Master Jamie.
"As long as the doctor gives me the all clear today I'll be back," he said.
Thompson has contacted Racing Queensland and, pending medical clearance, he too plans to resume riding at Rockhampton.
Stewards opened an inquiry into the circumstances surrounding UNO AMOR (Thompson) and CONQUERMORE (Tilley) both falling near the 600m.
After taking evidence from the riders in the vicinity, stewards adjourned the inquiry to allow apprentice A. Thompson to be present.
